Now
Tech Lead | 6 months, 2024
Glasfaser Nordwest is a regional provider of fiber optic internet in the north-west of Germany. As tech lead, our team built an integration service that ensured consistency of customer data across all systems. The system had to process millions of records daily, and handle the edge and failure cases of the third party systems we integrated with. The project was completed in 6 months, significantly under budget and ahead of schedule.
Freelance Interim CTO

atmio is a B2B SaaS startup that aims to revolutionize the way methane emissions are measured and reported. I was the first person to support the two founders, tasked with conceptualizing and building the software side of the product. Within 9 months, we successfully launched the platform and on-boarded our first customers, which ultimately enabled a successful 7-figure seed round.
Entrepreneur in Residence

EF is a talent investor that brings together cohorts of 25 CTO profiles and 25 CEO profiles to build the next unicorn startups. I was privileged to take part in the Berlin Fall 2022 cohort, where I learned the ins and outs of perfecting customer interviews, building PoCs quickly, crafting a vision and pitching to investors.
Freelance Tech Lead

I was exposed to Bosch Power Tools during my time at Futurice and re-joined as a freelancer to support projects in the Pro360 ecosystem. I was first tasked with building the back office application for the Pro360 ecosystem, and later lead the tech team to roll out Pro360 globally.
Full-Stack Developer & Tech Lead
2019 - 2021
Futurice is a digital innovation agency that focuses on co-creating a resilient future with their clients. I joined the newly formed Stuttgart office as a full-stack developer and worked with clients in automotive and consumer electronics. This is where I made the leap to tech lead and was responsible for global rollout of a global services platform with hundreds of thousands of users.
Product Owner & Developer
2017 - 2019
MountLytics was a hospitality tech startup that aimed to create the next generation CMS for hotels, which ultimately failed to break into a highly conservative market. I started out as a PO, where I was tasked with scoping the MVP after a hard pivot, and moved to a development role halfway through to support in MVP development.
IT Consultant
2017
Senacor is an IT consultancy focused on the financial industry. My main involvement was centered around driving RPA implementation for a large bank in different departments ranging from real estate financing, to risk, and controlling.
Student & Lecturer
2013-2014
The ZU is the source of my entrepreneurial tendencies and its interdisciplinary focus set the tone for what was to come. While studying "Corporate Management & Economics", I also initiated and offered a course called "Applied Web Development" for several semesters.

Do you have a mission critical project that's keeping you up at night?
Regardless of industry, company size, or roles involved, my mission is always the same: to ensure that my clients' technical projects are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed expectations — no matter what it takes.
My deep technical expertise paired with a broad background in consulting, product, and management allows me adapt my role on the fly to meet any challenges as they arise.
I offer two core roles that serve as blueprints for discussions:
As technical leader, my responsibility is that my team is able to perform at its best by ensuring the optimal tools, technologies, processes, and communication channels are in place.
As product engineer, I take full ownership of a product. With years experience in all aspects of product development, ranging from frontend, to backend, to DevOps, I can guarantee a smooth delivery process, with a product that exceeds expectations.

Let's discuss
Tech is great, but all too often it lacks the sensory experience that makes life exciting. It also doesn't hurt to stare at something that's more than 50cm away from the eyes for a change. 😉
Paragliding, hiking, snowboarding - whenever I need to shut off and just take life in for what it is, then the mountains are my place to be.
Recently, I converted part of the garage of my in-laws into a small workshop. The saw dust in our living room was getting a little out of hand at the time.
Being able to turn an idea into reality and being self-reliant when it comes to fixing things is the same fundamental drive that got me into coding as well.
Next project: crafting some replacement furniture for our balcony.
What do you do when you move to college but got really used to mom's great cooking? It's either downgrade your expectations or get cooking!
What began as somewhat of a necessity turned into a passion, office and bedroom aside, the kitchen is definitely the place I consistently spend the most time in.
